The Outfit is a World War II game that, unlike many other games in the genre, focuses almost entirely on destruction. While you will usually need to take a tactical approach to gameplay when on foot, you will earn points called "Field Units" that can be used to buy equipment like tanks and gun turrets to destroy Axis soldiers. You can simply buy equipment by using the Y button on your controller in conjunction with the left thumbstick button to select an item to buy. As such, the game developers call The Outfit "destruction on demand". The equipment you buy with Field Units will initially be occupied by AI-controlled soldiers, but you can replace whoever is using the equipment so that you can have some fun blowing stuff up. Sporting a fully destructible environment, almost everything in The Outfit can be blown up. You can play as one of three characters. Tommy Mac can take lots of damage before dying, and comes equipped with a flamethrower and machine gun, but equipment will cost him more Field Units than other characters. Deuce Williams comes equipped with a rocket launcher and pistol, and doesn't need as much Field Units to buy stuff as Tommy does, but he isn't nearly as strong as Tommy. JD Tyler is the most accurate of the three, sporting a sniper rifle and shotgun, but unfortunately he will die with one shot, so he must take an extremely tactical approach to gameplay.
Storyline: Set in war-ravaged Europe during the Second World War, The Outfit is a squad-based third-person shooter that blends run-and-gun action with light strategy across highly destructible battlefields. Players command one of three distinct squad leaders, each with their own skills, leading a band of battle-hardened American soldiers through a campaign against the German occupation. As they fight, the outfit earns resources that can be spent on the fly to call in tanks, vehicles, emplacements, and air and artillery strikes, tearing apart the environment to overwhelm the enemy. The story begins as the team pushes inland to liberate a small town, only to find its residents gone, killed or driven out, with a lone French priest remaining to offer what help his knowledge of the enemy allows. He speaks of a massacre carried out in the village church by a ruthless German general answering directly to Hitler, setting the soldiers on a path of vengeance and liberation through occupied France.

FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What does CIB mean?
Complete In Box. Generally means an item has it's original case and manual. If items are not CIB, you'll see little badges of Loose or No Manual on them.
Do I need to worry about Regions?
For modern consoles (PS3 / 4 / 5, Xbox One / X, Switch / 2) you don't need to panic as they will play games from any region.
For older consoles, you need to ensure your console matches the game. The majority of our games will be PAL, which is the NZ standard. Look-out for rare titles that are NTSC (US / Canada) or NTSC-J (Japan / Asia) releases.
If you're not sure, please ask!
How do I get Free Shipping?
Yappa+ Subscribers get Free Shipping on every order. If you're not ready to commit, then you qualify for orders over $200 (may exclude some bulky items like consoles etc...).
